The talkie portions of namma Rocking Star Yash’s KGF has been wrapped up with only one song left to be shot. The team was looking for a suitable star to shake a leg for the special number and have finally roped in Tamannaah.
Tamannaah will be joining the sets sometime next week for the song which is a retro number. Tamannaah had done a special number in Sandalwood in past for the Nikhil Kumar starrer Jaguar. And KGF makes her second outing in Kannada Cinema.
KGF is considered as a high budget movie in Sandalwood and it is directed by Prashanth Neel who has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues. Vijay Kiragandur is producing the film under his banner Homable Films.
KGF is a period drama set in the 1970s and it will be released in multiple languages including Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil.
What we heard from our sources, KGF revolves around the protagonist Rocky (Played by Yash) who leads a group of oppressed people against their tormentors and is definitely not based on the life of Kolar gang-lord Don Thangam.
