Gandhigiri starring director Prem, Ragini and Arundathi Nag resume the next schedule of the shooting today at Mysuru. The project was started sometime in 2016, with “Hitler” as the title. The film had also completed its first schedule of shooting in the year 2017, Prem being engrossed with “The Villian” pushed this project further away.
However, the film has now resumed its shooting in a full swing. The film is being directed by Raghu Hassan, who had previously worked on the screenplay of the film Huchudugaru. Apart from this Raghu also has a first hand experience in Assisting Prem in the direction of his previous movies, with Ghandhigiri he emerges as a Debut Director.
The film was originally titled as Hitler and had created a furious controversy. Director Teshi Venkatesh had already registered the title and had refused to give it to Raghu. He had also made a statement saying some people like to register the movie title, never look back to work on the film and leave it for many years and with no other options I’m considering to register a title as Prem’s Hitler. But in the latter scenario, they changed it to Gandhigiri.
Arundathi Nag will be playing a Prem’s mother in the film and Ragini Dwivedi will be seen playing as an English teacher. The other cast Includes Rangayana Raghu, Sharmiela Mandre and Kuri Prathap. Anoop Seelin is scoring the music, while Girish R Gowda manages the DOP and Ravi Varma will be choreographing the stunt sequences.
