Kannada Cinema’s one of the most anticipated films of the year, The Villain is expected to hit the marquee on October 18th. The Villain which stars Shivaraj Kumar and Sudeep is very hot in Bollywood Trade Circles as well.

A Distribution source informs “The Villain (If released simultaneously) will at least make 25 Crores in first week itself. I am giving you this assumption figure considering the price it was sold for Dubbing rights which will includes Theatrical”.

We also hear from our sources, The Villain’s Hindi Version rights are sold for a whooping price of 4 Crores to Manish Shah of Goldmine Telefilms. This deal however, do not involve The Villain’s Theatrical release.

Directed by Prem, the film will be having Shiva Rajkumar and Kiccha Sudeep sharing the screen space for the first time in their career. The Villain is touted to be an action thriller which is being produced by CR Manohar under his banner Tanvi Shanvi Films on a huge budget. While Amy Jackson plays the female lead in this film, the star cast also includes Mithun Chakraborty, Srikanth, Sruthi Hariharan in supporting roles (As per the film’s Wikipedia).

The Villain will be released simultaneously in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil languages as of now. No news of Hindi Version getting release is being confirmed from the makers.
